WORKSHOP: This workshop is aimed at people who are currently wanting to set up a regular nature discovery programme at their centre or school, OR centres who have recently started running regular excursions in the last year or two, OR schools who have started a play based learning approach and want to take it outside.

This Nature in the Early Years workshop will cover:
– Where to start and how we can start
– Barriers and solutions
– Risk taking and the benefits (including Risk Benefit Assessment)
– Safety management (including roles and responsibilities / group management / boundaries)
– Practical outside site assessment and risk management session.

This is a 3 hour workshop on the morning of Saturday 30th June 2018 in Christchurch. Morning tea provided.
